Water board introduces eco-friendly e-billing system
The National Water Supply and Dranage Board (NWSDB) has introduced an eco-friendly e-billing system for water bill payments.
They requested the consumers to SMS their water bill account numbers and email addresses to 071-9399999 to receive their confirmation.
The consumers will have to accept the email received to confirm their account number and email address, they said.
The payments are easy to make and consumers can pay their outstanding water bills, charges for new connections or for various other services such as reconnections, meter shifting, etc. using this online payment portal, the NWSDB added.
