Dickwella & Dhananjaya highest paid cricketers in proposed new SLC payments scheme
Sri Lanka Cricket officials are set to announce the new contract grades and payments scheme for national cricketers.
According to SLC sources, Angelo Mathews, Suranga Lakmal, Dinesh Chandimal along with current Test skipper Dimuth Karunaratne are set to get a major pay cut with the new contracts.
Wicket keeper batsman Niroshan Dickwella and Dhananjaya de Silva are set to receive the highest grade with a payment of $100,000 on the basis that they play all three formats for Sri Lanka.
New Contract grade and payment :
Players are yet sign the contracts despite several rounds of negotiations were held recently on the matter.
