Arrest warrant issued for former MP Hirunika
An arrest warrant was issued against former Parliamentarian Hirunika Premachandra today.
The warrant was issued by the Colombo High Court.
The Court also instructed the Police to arrest and produce Premachandra before court.
The warrant has been issued against the Samagi Jana Balawegaya member for not appearing in court over the case filed with regard to the abduction of a youth.
A case was filed against former MP Hirunika Premachandra over the alleged involvement in the abduction of a youth using a Defender in Dematagoda on December 21, 2015.
