Kangana Ranaut starts training for 'Tejas', claims to have given Bollywood "its first ever legitimate action heroine"

Kangana Ranaut has kick started the training for her upcoming action films and gave a glimpse of her workout to her social media followers. From throwing impressive kicks and punches to executing perfect somersaults – Kangana has switched to action mode. She is currently residing at her hometown in Manali and is training against a picturesque landscape.

Kangana had captioned her training video, “I have started action training for my upcoming action films #Tejas and #Dhakaad I play a Fauji and a Spy respectively in these films.” Further claiming to have given the Hindi film industry its first-ever action heroine, Kangana added, “Bollywood ki thali may have given me a lot but post Manikarnika success I too have given Bollywood its first ever legitimate action heroine.”

Kangana essays the role of an Indian Air Force pilot in ‘Tejas’, which will be directed by Sarvesh Mewara. The shoot of this film will reportedly begin from December. Before ‘Dhakaad’ and ‘Tejas’, Kangana will be seen essaying the title role in ‘Thalaivi’. Directed by AL Vijay, the film is a biopic on actress turned politician Jayalalithaa.
