Army bus collides with train (Photos)
Two persons were hospitalized after a bus carrying Army personnel collided with a train at the Wanawasala railway crossing.
The bus was traveling from Wattala to Thorana Junction when it collided with a train travelling from Polgahawela to Colombo-Fort this morning.
No one on board the bus was injured in the accident, police said.
The police stated that the seller and a person who had come to buy lottery tickets at a lottery stall at the scene of the accident were hospitalized with serious injuries.
One of them has been admitted to the Kiribathgoda Hospital while the other has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.
