Suspect arrested in Gampaha with a hand grenade and ammunition
A foreign made hand grenade, 38 T-56 live bullets and a special night time telescope were found hidden in a shop on Yakkala Road in Gampaha.
According to information received by the STF, the stock of equipment and weapons were found yesterday.
A 41-year-old suspect from the Agbopura area in Kantale has been arrested in connection with the incident and two forged driving licenses have been found in his possession, the Police Media Division stated.
