PHIs return to work in Gampaha
Public Health Inspectors who resigned from vaccination services in the Gampaha District have returned to work.
This is due to the Ministry of Health providing written solutions to their demands.
The Gampaha District Public Health Inspectors have commenced a trade union action this morning to protest against the decision to reduce the number of centers used for vaccination and the improper conduct of the vaccination process.
However, the Public Health Inspectors have returned to work after being informed in writing by the Ministry of Health that the relevant process will be streamlined
