Colombo District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 466 COVID patients reported yesterday (26), the highest number of COVID patients were identified from the Colombo District which was 164 patients.
From the Gampaha District, 76 cases were reported, while 22 cases were reported from the Kalutara District.
Another 19 cases were reported from the Kandy District.
Since the beginning of the second coronavirus wave on 04 October, from the Colombo District 29,430 COVID patients were reported.
During the same period, 16,367 COVID patients were reported from the Gampaha District, while 6,165 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
The total number of COVID cases in Sri Lanka stands at 81,933, while 76,961 have recovered with 4,513 still receiving treatment.
