19 trains scheduled to run during this weekend
The Railway Department states that 19 trains are scheduled to run during the coming weekend.
Accordingly, 06 trains will run on the main line, 07 on the coastal line, 03 on the Puttalam line, 02 on the Kelani Valley line and one train on the northern line tomorrow (09) and the day after tomorrow (10).
However, the trains will continue to run without stopping at the Dematagoda railway station.
Meanwhile, train services between Batticaloa and Mahawa have resumed from yesterday (07).
