'Govt ready to work with trade unions' - President
President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa states that those recruited under the Job Point Program have not been admitted to the Health Services Department.
The President made this observation at a discussion held at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday with representatives of trade unions affiliated to the Sri Lanka People's Front.
The President has stated that the opinion spread that those recruited under the Job Point Program will be admitted to the health service is completely wrong.
President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa stated that steps will be taken to resolve the salary and promotion anomalies and recruitment dilemmas in the public service.
The President said that the government was always ready to listen to the trade unions and work with them
