Facebook party at a lodge raided - female and 16 men arrested
The Habarana Police arrested 16 men and woman last night (21) after raiding a liquor party organized in the Habarana area.
It has been revealed that the party was held at a lodge above the Habarana tank.
The party had been organized through Facebook.
The raid was carried out based on information received by the Habarana Police Intelligence and the Special Bureau.
The arrested female is a 29 year old resident of Kurunegala.
The 16 men arrested are aged 22-28 years and are residents of Habarana, Kekirawa, Trincomalee, Matara and Kurunegala.
They are due to be produced before the Kekirawa Magistrate's Court today (22)
