28 new covid infected persons identified in prisons
28 new covid infected persons have been identified in prisons.
Accordingly, the total number of infected persons identified so far has increased to 4775, the Department of Prisons stated.
All 28 new infections identified were resident inmates.
At present the total number of infected persons in prison is 4613.
149 prison infected persons are currently receiving treatment
