Covid : National hospital nurse tests positive. Inquiries underway to find source of transmission
A nurse attached to the Colombo National Hospital has been infected with the coronavirus, PCR tests have revealed.
The nurse is said have worked at the Intensive Care Unit of the Emergency ward at the hospital.
The woman, who is a resident of Mathugama, has been admitted to the Nagoda hospital in Kalutara.
The source of her transmission is yet to be ascertained.
The PCR test results of a group of hospital employees who had associated with the infected nurse, are due today (14).
