New Hotline Launched for Emergencies in Northern, Eastern Provinces
A Police emergency hotline was introduced today for the Northern and Eastern provinces.
This is based on instructions of Minister of Public Security Tiran Alles and Inspector General of Police Deshabandu Tennakoon.
Complaints from the Northern and Eastern provinces can be made via the hotline 107.
Complaints can be made to the hotline operational 24/7 in Tamil.
The program will operate under the supervision of President Ranil Wickremesinghe
