Woman killed in motorcycle accident
A woman has died in a motorcycle accident that took place Angunakolapelessa, Kailawelpota last night (03).
The police stated that the accident took place when two motorcycles collided. The woman who was seriously injured in the accident died on admission to the Kuttigala Hospital.
The deceased was identified as a woman resident of Kailawelpota.
Police said the 48-year-old woman was unmarried.
Meanwhile, the other motorcyclist who was seriously injured was admitted to the Embilipitiya Base Hospital.
The autopsy of the deceased woman is to be held today (04).
The Angunakolapelessa Police are conducting further investigations.
