Malaysian Coast Guard Ship KM BENDAHARA Docks in Colombo

The Malaysian Coast Guard vessel KM BENDAHARA arrived at the Port of Colombo on a replenishment visit, where it was ceremonially welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with longstanding naval traditions.

The KM BENDAHARA is a 64.16-meter Reliance Class Medium Endurance Cutter, crewed by 50 personnel and commanded by Commander (Maritime) Mohd Fahimi Bin Omar.

KM BENDAHARA (IMO 4684892) is a /Naval ship built in 1968 and is sailing under the flag of Malaysia.

During their stay, the crew is scheduled to explore Sri Lanka through a series of sightseeing tours, offering them a glimpse into the island’s rich cultural and natural heritage.

The KM BENDAHARA is slated to depart Sri Lankan waters on 30 October, concluding its official port call.
