US Vice President-elect Kamala Harris used victory speech to pay tribute to her mother Shyamala Gopalan Harris. Harris, a groundbreaking California senator, has added several firsts to her name after Joe Biden won US presidency. Harris has made history by becoming the first female black & first Asian American vice president-elect of the US. In a symbolism-heavy victory speech, Harris told girls she maybe first woman to win the second highest US office, but not be the last.
