Youth arrested for jewellery theft
A youth was arrested in the Kasturia, Jaffna for breaking into houses and stealing jewellery.
The Police Media Spokesperson's Office stated that the suspect was arrested following a complaint lodged with the Jaffna Divisional Crime Investigation Division regarding the theft of gold jewellery worth Rs. 2,697,500.
Police have recovered five gold necklaces, seven gold rings and three gold rings that were stolen
