Colombo District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 715 COVID patients reported yesterday (02), the highest number of COVID patients were identified from the Colombo District which was 261 patients.
From the Gampaha District, 142 cases were reported, while 40 cases were reported from the Kalutara District.
Since the beginning of the second coronavirus wave on 04 October, from the Colombo District 25,163 COVID patients were reported.
During the same period, 13,339 COVID patients were reported from the Gampaha District, while 5,040 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
The total number of COVID cases in Sri Lanka stands at 65,698, while 59,043 have recovered with 6,325 still receiving treatment.
