“No practice or plan, no fitness tests” Ashantha reveals why SL lost against SA & Eng
Former Chief Cricket Selector Ashantha De Mel in an interview said that Sri Lanka team played both the South Africa and England Tests series with out any plan and proper practice.
“We didn’t practice, we didn’t plan, we just went” he said.
He also said that there was no chance to check if the players were fit as they had to tour to South Africa next day after the Lanka Premier League final.
