Ukrainian travellers visit Sigiriya (Photos)
A group of 45 Ukrainian travellers who are in Sri Lanka has visited the Sigiriya archaeological site today (18)
The Hiru correspondent stated that the group was received by the officials of the Sigiriya Project Office of the Central Cultural Fund.
They were also provided security by the police and the army.
The Hiru correspondent said that the group was divided into two groups and visited Sigiriya while adhering to COVID-19 health guidelines
The Ukrainian tourists were previously scheduled to visit Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa, but it was cancelled.
