Husband kills wife by beheading
News of a husband beheading his wife was reported from Telikarai in Pooneryn, Kilinochchi yesterday (17).
The police stated that the victim was a 36-year-old mother of three.
Investigations have revealed that the husband had beheaded his wife over a dispute.
The husband of the deceased was arrested in connection with the incident and the suspect is to be produced before the Kilinochchi Magistrate's Court.
The Pooneryn Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
