Colombo records the highest number of corona infections yesterday
The National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID 19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) states that the highest number of coronavirus patients identified were reported from the Colombo district yesterday.
Accordingly, 294 cases were reported from the Colombo district yesterday and 66 of those infected were reported from Welikada Prison.
Also, 130 infected persons have been identified from the Kalutara district and 96 of them have been reported from the Atalugama area.
Meanwhile 36 infected persons were identified from the Kandy district yesterday.
