Programme underway to provide medicine to patients amidst COVID-19
The Ministry of Health has launched several programs to issue medicine for patients who are unable to seek medical advice given the COVID-19 pandemic, health authorities said.
“A programme is currently underway to provide medicine for patients who cannot visit clinics as a result of the prevailing situation,” Dr. Asela Gunawardena, the Director-General of Health Services said on Sunday (Nov. 22).
The programme got underway in the Mutuwal area on Saturday (Nov. 21) by a group of doctors who visited the area and issued necessary medicine for the patients, Dr. Gunawardena further noted
