87 Shootings Rock Sri Lanka in 2025
Sri Lanka has witnessed a troubling surge in gun violence this year, with 87 shooting incidents reported so far, according to police sources.
Out of these, 47 individuals have died, and 50 others have sustained injuries.
Alarmingly, 67 of the shootings have been linked to conflicts between organized criminal groups.
