Police STF arrests suspect with ethanol worth over Rs.10 million
A suspect has been arrested in Dankotuwa with a stock of ethanol valued at over Rs.10 million.
The suspect was arrested by Police Special Task Force personnel.
The Police STF personnel seized 5,000L of ethanol and an illegal liquor stock found in the suspect's possession.
The stock was found concealed in a vehicle repair shop.
The Police STF said the ethanol was stocked to be used in a racket to supply alcohol to the market with forged labels.
