Fifty More Government Institutions To Join GOV PAY System By September
According to Waruna Sri Dhanapala, Secretary for the Ministry of Digital Economy, Steps are underway to connect 50 more government institutions to the GOV PAY system.
He says that the expanded system is expected to be operational by next month, increasing the total number of connected institutions to 100.
The month of September has been designated as Digital Economy Month, following directives from President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
This initiative aims to accelerate the nation’s transition towards a digital economy.
A series of programs will be implemented throughout the month to educate the public about the advantages of digital technologies.
