Navy And Fire Department Respond To Galle Harbour Fire
A fire has broken out on several old, unused boats at the Galle Fisheries Harbour.
Navy Media Spokesperson Commander Buddhika Sampath says that a Navy team has been deployed to assist in extinguishing the fire.
The Fire Brigade Service Department of the Galle Municipal Council has also dispatched two fire engines to the scene.
No injuries have been reported, and police say the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
