Sri Lankan Economy rebounds with 5.0% growth in 2024
Sri Lanka's economy grew by 5.0% in 2024, compared to the 2.3% contraction in 2023, said the Central Bank of Sri Lanka on Tuesday (18).
According to the National Accounts Estimates for 2024, all three major economic activities positively contributed to this growth.
