Indian Fishers Detained for Maritime Boundary Violations
Sri Lankan Navy apprehended 32 Indian fishermen who were found to be in violation of the country’s maritime boundaries.
These individuals were engaged in fishing activities within the Delft and Mannar sea areas.
As part of the enforcement action, five vessels belonging to the Indian fishermen were seized by the authorities.
