CEB to Submit Revised Electricity Tariff Reduction Proposal to PUCSL
The Ceylon Electricity Board says that the revised proposal for reducing the electricity tariff will be presented to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka tomorrow.
The Board added that it has completed the review of the relevant data.
Accordingly, the Ceylon Electricity Board says that the final calculations regarding the percentage by which electricity tariff should be reduced will be made today.
After receiving the revised proposal, the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka will take further action regarding the matter.
Although the Ceylon Electricity Board had previously presented a proposal to reduce the electricity tariff, the Public Utilities Commission informed them to revise and resubmit it.
The new revised proposal will be presented accordingly.
