Special Team Appointed to Assess Flood Damage to 390,000 Acres of Crops
The Agricultural & Agrarian Insurance Board has appointed a special team to assess the damage to crops caused by flooding.
390,000 acres of cultivated land has been damaged due to heavy rainfall.
Chairman of the Agricultural & Agrarian Insurance Board, Pemasiri Jasingarachchi, said that a special team will be dispatched to the farmlands tomorrow to start assessing the damage.
