Over 20,000 suspects arrested in Operation Yukthiya…
Over the past two weeks, operation Yukthiya has led to the arrest of 20,797 suspects.
Authorities have obtained detention orders for 1,018 of these suspects, and investigations into possible illegal assets have been initiated for 189 suspects.
The operation also targeted registered suspects from the Police Narcotics Bureau and Special Bureau, with 1,625 arrests made out of a total 4,584 registered individuals.
The police have seized drugs with a total market value exceeding Rs. 858 million.
In addition to the drugs, the value of banned properties confiscated from drug traffickers surpasses 558.5 million rupees.
