New Cabinet, Including Prime Minister, to be Sworn In Today
The swearing-in ceremony for the new Cabinet, including the Prime Minister, is scheduled to take place today.
Dr. Nihal Abeysinghe, General Secretary of the National People's Power (NPP), announced that MP Lakshman Nipunarachchi, who was recently gazetted as a new MP, will also be sworn in as a new Cabinet Minister today.
Accordingly, the new Cabinet will consist of four ministers.
Additionally, Dr. Nihal Abeysinghe stated that new Ministry Secretaries will also be appointed today.
