Ranil Is Accustomed To Losing, And Will Concede - AKD
Presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake has confidently declared that the victory of the National People's Power is now in the hands of the people and cannot be reversed.
Speaking at a recent rally, Dissanayake emphasized the overwhelming support the NPP has garnered, particularly in the city of Homagama, which he described as unprecedented in recent political history.
He dismissed the efforts of his political rivals, Ranil Wickremesinghe and Sajith Premadasa, asserting that their attempts to challenge the NPP's momentum would be futile. "No matter what bets Ranil or Sajith Premadasa place, this journey cannot be reversed. This leads to victory," he declared.
Dissanayake also addressed concerns about potential electoral fraud, assuring supporters that the integrity of the voting process would be maintained. He highlighted the significant increase in postal ballots as evidence of public servants' dedication to protecting every vote.
In a pointed critique of Wickremesinghe, Dissanayake suggested that the incumbent president is accustomed to losing and would ultimately concede defeat peacefully.
