Impersonator of District Judge Arrested
A man impersonating a district judge was arrested in the Gandara area.
The suspect, who had been defrauding people by posing as the Badulla District Judge, was apprehended following a tip-off received via the 119 emergency number.
The police conducted an investigation and located the suspect at a house in Gandara.
The arrested individual is a 53-year-old resident of Kiribathgoda.
Authorities have confirmed that the suspect is scheduled to appear in court today.
