4 Dead, 8 Injured in Road Accidents Across Sri Lanka in the past 24 hours
In the past 24 hours, 4 people have died and 8 others have been injured in road accidents in several areas.
Police said that one person died and two others were injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred on the Elahara - Moragahakanda road.
One person died and five others were injured in an accident where a van veered off the road and collided with an electric pole near 57th post of the Talaimannar road.
A 16-year-old student has died in a motorcycle accident in Aluthwewa area on the Galewela - Pansiyagama road.
Another was injured in the accident.
Police said that a 59-year-old man died after a motorcycle accident on the Bandarawela Ettampitiya road , near Ettampitiya Hospital.
