New Chief of Staff of The Sri Lanka Army Appointed
Major General Rohitha Aluvihare has been appointed as the new Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army.
This was confirmed in a media release issued by Sri Lanka Army headquarters.
Major General Rohitha Aluvihare is an officer of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army.
The appointment, made by the Commander of the Army will be effective from 20 June 2024.
