Colombo- Kandy Main Road Remain Closed. Drivers Advised To Use Alternate Routes
The Disaster Management Center says that the lower Kadugannava section of the main Colombo-Kandy road will continue to be closed.
The road closure is due to the removal of dangerous rocks along the road.
Director of the Disaster Management Center Pradeep Kodippili advices drivers using the road to use alternative routes.
He mentioned that drivers are adviced to use the Colombo Kurunegala high way route and enter Kandy through the Galagedara road through Rambukkana.
He also mentioned that drivers can use the Gampola Kandy road through Hemmathagama Mawanella.
