SLTB Deploys Mobile Teams To Curb Ticket Over Pricing
Sri Lanka Transport Board says that additional officials have been deployed to conduct raids regarding ticket frauds.
Its chairman Lalith de Alwis said that officials from other departments have been assigned carry out this task.
He said mobile teams along with security forces are carriying out these raids in an effort to minimise issure related to unfair ticket prices and apprehend the culprits.
He urged the public to only pay the price stipulated on the ticket they are issued when using public transport.
