Prison Dept. Cracks Down on Inefficiency with Disciplinary Actions
The Department of Prisons has announced a crackdown on inefficient services, with disciplinary action planned for prison superintendents and officers found lacking.
Collaborating with intelligence services, the Prisons Department is currently conducting investigations to identify those responsible.
Disciplinary measures, including transfers, will be implemented to address inefficiency.
This decision comes in response to recent prison congestion and ongoing Operation Yukthiya.
