Alleged Counterfeiter Apprehended in Galle Raid
Police in Galle have arrested a suspect involved in printing forfeit currency.
During a raid conducted by the Galle Crime Investigation Division in Imaduwa, officers apprehended a 47-year-old resident.
A laptop, printer, ten foreign passports under various names, and a stockpile of counterfeit bills in denominations of 5000, 1000, and 500 rupees were seized.
