Young Police constable drowned in Kalutara beach.
A 22-year-old police constable from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), identified as Deshanjana Tharinda, drowned while sea bathing with friends at Katukurunda Beach in Kalutara.
The officer, a resident of Nagoda, Kalutara, lost his life in the incident.
