Lanka IOC and Sinopec increase 95 Octane petrol price

Lanka IOC and Sinopec have announced a Rs. 20 per litre increase in the price of 95 Octane petrol, effective from midnight today.

With the latest revision, the price of 95 Octane petrol at both companies will rise from Rs. 495 to Rs. 515 per litre.

The increase means motorists purchasing 95 Octane petrol from Lanka IOC and Sinopec will pay Rs. 25 more per litre than those purchasing the same fuel grade from the state-owned Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco).

Ceypetco currently sells 95 Octane petrol at Rs. 490 per litre, following a Rs. 15 increase implemented earlier this month.

Lanka IOC and Sinopec had previously increased their 95 Octane petrol prices by Rs. 20 to Rs. 495 in late October.
