Operations in upcountry Railway line suspended for 06 months.
The Department of Railways says that the railway operations from Mahawa to Anuradhapura along the upcountry Railway line will be suspended for six months from the 7th of January 2024.
This is due to the renovation of the railway track.
The Department of Railways says that trains will operate from Colombo Fort to Mahawa and from Kankesanthurai to Anuradhapura.
