Man wanted for murder of Moratumulla woman arrested.
The suspect wanted for the alleged assault and murder of a woman in Moratumulla area on Wednesday (29 Nov) has been arrested on Saturday(2), the police said.
The suspect is an 18-year-old man from Lower Indibedda area in Moratuwa.
After further questioning, police have also recovered the crow bar used to commit the murder, the blood stained shirt the suspect was wearing at the time of incident along with a smartphone.
Moratumulla Police are conducting further investigations.
