Colombo District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 352 COVID patients reported yesterday (28), the highest number of COVID patients were identified from the Colombo District which was 112 patients.
From the Gampaha District, 57 cases were reported, while 16 cases were reported from the Kalutara District.
Another 50 patients were reported from the Ratnapura District.
Since the beginning of the second coronavirus wave on 04 October, from the Colombo District 29,733 COVID patients were reported.
During the same period, 16,564 COVID patients were reported from the Gampaha District, while 6,205 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
The total number of COVID cases in Sri Lanka stands at 83,242, while 78,947 have recovered with 3,824 still receiving treatment.
