Dengue on the rise: number of high-risk zones up to 44.
The National Dengue Control Unit stated that the number of Dengue high-risk zones across the island has risen to 44.
Its Director Dr. Nalin Ariyaratne said that the highest number of Dengue patients continues to be reported from the Western province.
He added that a special Dengue prevention week will be in effect from next Monday (13).
