Suspect Dies After Hospitalization Following Weapons Raid.
A suspect apprehended by the Police Special Task Force in Ragama, Sri Lanka, has died after being admitted to Ragama Hospital.
According to Police Spokesman & Attorney-at-Law SSP Nihal Talduwa, the suspect was arrested in the Ragama area based on intelligence suggesting involvement in weapons procurement.

The Police Spokesman confirmed the discovery of a T-56 firearm and a magazine during the search operation.
Police reports state that while proceeding to search for more weapons, the suspect fell into a ditch around 2:00 a.m.
The suspect was subsequently admitted to Ragama Hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The deceased was identified as 54-year-old Tharaka Ravindra Dissanayake, a resident of the Matugama area.
