Security tightened in Colombo - Police Media Spokesperson.
Security has been tightened in several areas in Colombo.
Police media spokesperson SSP Nihal Thalduwa said that security has been tighted due to an unspecified intelligence information received.
He added that police, Police Special Task Force, Army and police anti-riot teams have been deployed.
Meanwhile, special operations are in place in other parts of the island.
The Police Media Spokesman said that this security arrangement will be in place until the relevant information is updated by the intelligence agencies.
